Stubb's Cowboy Beans

Beans are good, but Stubb’s Cowboy Beans are even better. Browned beef, sausage and Stubb’s Bar-B-Q sauce add some true Texas style to this recipe.

  • 4 cans (398 ml) Bush’s Original Baked Beans
  • 1/2 pound (250 g) 80% lean ground beef
  • 1/2 pound (250 g) ground pork sausage
  • 1 cup (250 ml) Stubb’s Hickory Bourbon or Smokey Mesquite Bar-B-Q Sauce
  • 1 pkg (75 g) eal bacon bits
  • 1/2 cups (125 ml) chopped red onion


  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and sausage, drain any excess liquid.

  • Mix beans, cooked meat, Bar-B-Q Sauce, bacon bits, and onions in 13x9-inch (33x23-cm) baking dish. Cover with foil. Bake 45 minutes, or until heated through.
