  • 10 ozs (280 g) 4 sirloin steaks
  • 2 tbsps (30 ml) Stubb’s Steak Spice Rub
  • 2 tbsps (30 ml) olive oil
  • bag 4 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup (250 ml) red wine, such as merlot
  • 3/4 cups (175 ml) beef broth
  • 2 tbsps (30 ml) Stubb’s Texas Steakhouse Marinade
  • 1 tbsp (14 g) butter

  • Preheat grill on medium heat. Rub steaks on all sides with Steak Rub, pressing into meat. Let stand at room temperature while preparing the sauce.

  • For the Red Wine Sauce, heat olive oil in medium saucepan on medium-high heat. Add shallots and sauté, sitrring frequently, until lightly caramelized, about 5 minutes. Add wine, increase temperature to high; cook until reduced by half. Add Texas Steakhouse Marinade, beef broth and butter; reduce heat to low and continue cooking about 10 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, grill steaks 5 to 6 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Let steaks rest 5 minutes before serving. Serve with Red Wine Sauce.
