Every year I get to travel around the country to different food shows to represent Stubb’s. At these shows we promote and sell Stubb’s products. Most of these shows require you to wear a badge. They usually have your name, your company name and the show name on it. Some shows are small and only require one person. Others are big and you need a whole team of people. There are distributor, wholesale, expos and even fancy shows. Over the years, I have built up a collection of these badges. They are all special to me, some more than others. They are like trophies to me. They remind me of how far Stubb’s has come.
I recently found a very special badge. It’s an old show badge from a show back in 1993. This was before I even started working full time for the company. It was my grandpa’s badge for a show he attended. Knowing that he held on to it makes me think he was collecting badges too. If he was still here today I know he would have an impressive collection. You know, it’s kind of funny when you find out you are doing stuff that your parents or grandparents use to do.
